  • I did a developmental edit and manuscript evaluation of a memoir by a prominent art collector about his private collection of works by twentieth-century American figurative expressionist artists (the Rhino Horn artists). (2023)

  • I edited a journal article chronicling the conservation treatment of a large outdoor painted sculpture, Kiosque L’Evidé, by Jean Dubuffet. I worked directly with a renowned sculpture conservator who was the article’s lead author and whose team performed the treatment. (Journal of the American Institute for Conservation, 2022)

  • I edited an MFA thesis (in support of a photography portfolio) exploring the idea of beauty and its relationship to representations of illness in popular culture. (2021)

  • I copyedited Artpace at 25, a 272-page catalog documenting the 25th anniversary of Artpace San Antonio, a prestigious international artist residency program. This book-length catalog Includes essays on 108 artists and exhibitions from the Spring 2008 through Fall 2019 residency cycles, written by the curators who selected the artists for that cycle.   • I edited the 2019 volume of the Bulletin of the Detroit Institute of Arts, a 140-page special issue of the journal devoted to scholarship about Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s painting The Wedding Dance. I edited the publication through all stages of development and production, working directly with seven authors, the museum’s editorial board, the designer, and the proofreader. (2019)

  • I edited a chapter about the Islamic influences on two paintings by Jan Van Eyck for a multiauthor book. I worked directly with the head of the art history department at George Washington University. (Brill, 2018)

  • I copyedited book chapters and a journal article on 17th-century Mughal Indian painting, working directly with an art history professor at George Washington University. (2018, 2015)

  • I copyedited a catalog for an Ansel Adams exhibition at the Peabody Essex Museum. (2012)

  • I worked as an in-house copy editor at the Harvard Art Museums, editing museum publications, wall labels and panels, website content, newsletters, donor letters, and other visitor and marketing materials. I also edited a book that uses art from the Harvard collections to teach history and citizenship skills to recent immigrants. (2012)
